We love beautiful Earth! We are four individuals who share a common love for Mother Nature and her wonders. This pretty blog is a platform for our daily rants and ideas. True, we may have conflicting views but, we love our living planet. Simple as that.
Sorry, havent been posting for a long time.. Please be aware i would be a bit mean in this entry. If it make u uncomfortable, please dont read..
I believe a lot of people recently read about the Florida killer whale who killed a seaworld trainer. I feel sad about this incident because more people would hate animals and think they are vicious or cruel.
But in the first place they are not supposed to be in a zoo, aquarium or doing anything commercial against their will. Even a dolphin that loves performing shouldnt belong to our fish tank. They obviously belong to the sea , the wild.. I was thinking maybe this is a protest from the killer whale that he wants to go home.
I quote this from yahoo "The trainer would "pet him, and she would get very close to him. She'd throw fish in his mouth and throw buckets of water in his mouth, which HE SEEMED TO ENJOY". I'm afraid i dont think he enjoyed it, why would you be enjoying when u are being controlled and you lost your home?
I still think best is Tilikum and his familiy have to be released to the sea instead of keeping him in the seaworld.. Though seaworld might lost money, this is doing such a kind deed.. I believe animal rights, animal lovers would still continue to support sea world even if there are no animals in their park and they can still sell lots of merchandise..hahaha..i would be the first to support!
I hope one day animals and humans would be friends and we would care for the sea and our environment for each other..No longer humans are the most superior act and thinking..
"The President of the tiny Pacific republic, Johnson Toribiong, announced the sanctuary during Friday's session of the UN General Assembly. With half of the world's oceanic sharks at risk of extinction, conservationists regard the move as "game-changing".It will protect about 600,000 sq km (230,000 sq miles) of ocean, an area about the size of France. President Toribiong also called for a global ban on shark-finning, the practice of removing the fins at sea."
Isn't this awesome? It's nice knowing that those sharks will be in a safe environment where they're free to live without the fear of getting caught in nets or hooks and then have their fins cut off.
Yeah, so this was the thing i forgot about Chels. HAHAHA. And by the way, YES OBAMA! He is hot. I don't care how wrong that sounds. He just is.

heyaaaa, EDIT EDIT! hahaha.
was just reading some posts down and i just thought i would express my views on the Sea Shepherd gang hunting down the whale hunters. Well, i have been watching a few episodes of 'Whale Wars' and i really love it! all the action and all the effort put in was really admirable :) HOWEVER (haha!), i really wished they would apply a softer method of wanting to help the whales, and not putting everyone's life in jeopardy just to save the whales (im sure the whales will be upset too, if we died for them.) like sending the ship crew onboard the hunting vessel 'Yushin Maru', that is just totally wrong man..and the captain speaks as though everyone has to DIE for the whales...thats not right....if everyone of you died, who will be brave enough to step out and save the whales?! sending the ship crew on a small raft to look for the hunting vessel when it was nearly night, come on, with the rough sea, the crew were really lucky to have survived. and the sea shepherd's ship is named after mr steve irwin....hmm, i wonder if he will be a supporter of these actions man..because even I am not a big fan now...sigh...
to the whales: bear with it guyyyssssssss! to everyone else who love our whales: cheeeeerrrrs with lovesssss, chels
visit the website! we have a wildlife rescue centre in singapore now! there's even a hotline number! please take note and save it***i've already saved it in my phone! MUAHAHA!

True True. What Diy says it's true! We need to maintain our human relationship before we can start discussing about animals. WE can overreact because we just feel helpless, we just want to do something but sometimes emotions really seems to piss a lot of people. Our start might be different but our end definately ends the same place..
i think i have been "promoting" to become vegetarian for very long, actually no one have really actually become one and most seems pissed when i talked about it but at least i am glad that more people around me are starting to eat vegetarian food. At least i save one animal from there..i know i cant really say such words but i think a little part though cant really save a lot, it would still accumulates to a huge part someday.
Same as dolphin hunting, if a little reaction and word would stop dolphin which The Cove did. I think it is good start. It has saved 70 dolphins from now, i hope more would be saved.
Good news is Tokyo Film Festival decides to showcase The Cove after deep discussion. At least the other japanese should see what their fellows neighbours are doing.
I have a question to ask the people who read this blog,
Do you think Dolphins shows should be allowed?
I apologise if i pissed you because i think at least I must start a part , if you can sympathise Dolphins, whales, sharks, can you sympathise the little fishes too?

Hi guys, so it seems emotions are running high at the moment thanks to The Cove. AndI'm pretty sure those feelings are warranted, I've not watched the movie but I've read up a lot on the issue and looked at gruesome pictures of whales and dolphins getting massacred and as a result felt so many things, from disbelief to anger to sadness and most of all, helplessness.
Oftentimes though, I wonder if in the midst off all these "let's save the world" crusades we embark on, we are actually unaware of how we can sometimes overreact. With one of the exceptions being the unnecessary dolphin killings, some so-called causes are just puzzling to me and the organizations which promote them can be downright...what's the word....oh yeah, INSANE.
Let's look at PETA for example. I think wearing fur is disgusting and people who purchase fur coats, at the same time knowing HOW the fur is obtained make me sick. But does this make throwing flour at said people, cussing at them and basically humiliating them justifiable? I don't know, but it does make PETA look like assholes themselves and like Chels mentioned two posts below, you only get your 5 min in the spotlight and then it's over. People even forget what the hell it was you were trying to promote.
As someone who's had people question some of my personal beliefs before, I find it very aggravating when people try to feed me their ideas, hoping that I'd conform to them and at the same time try to make me feel guilty about the way I'm living. It especially grates my nerves when people think they're somehow better than you because of their beliefs. Sorry to break it to you, but there is such a thing as mutual respect and understanding of someone who decides to believe in something different from you. If something about what the person does really bother you, I think there's a way to talk it out with this person, have discussions, go out for coffee! God knows this world needs more friendly, healthy relationships more than ever.
So I guess what all this blabbering concludes to, is that we need to find a way to encourage people to care about our planet without destroying the relationships we have with one another.
With that said, I also think that we, as dwellers of this magnificent place called Earth, could be more passionate about certain issues which directly affect us. And as humans, we can actually speak for those poor animals who don't have the means to voice out how they, as citizens of the same planet, feel and hurt. This is where I'm glad you guys come in :) I love this blog!
Before I go off, I want to share this hilarious video. It kinda pokes fun at the whole "let's go green" mentality some people are obsessed about. I think this reminds us that we might have the best intentions in promoting our causes, but sometimes we just need to freakin' CHILL.
